business-graphics-1428645-mWhen you think your employees need a little pick-me-up, you're probably right – but they may be too busy to talk to you about it, or ask for one. Luckily for you, there are ways for you to let them know you are there for them and are watching them, regardless of whether they ask you to do so.

No Matter What, Show Respect to Others

People who make mistakes aren't going to make your company look like a horrible company most of the time. In fact, some people might even notice that you're human, and admire that quality (as long as nothing really terrible happened).  However, any jealous tendencies towards others in the company, or other companies in general, will be frowned upon. Live like you're in an emotional glass body. Everyone can see what's in your heart, your mind, and your being. This should help you understand how you should be feeling about things, and how to change your thinking and your heart to better reflect a quality company. Good companies don't get jealous; they rise above and do their best.

Weakness Should Be Corrected, but Not Catered To

Good leaders know that people are people and that sometimes they have weaknesses. It happens. Good leaders also help their employees overcome their weaknesses to become better, bigger employees who really have their stuff together. But habitual troublemakers can cause more than just one or two problems. They often cause trouble and make mistakes at the group's expense. Sometimes all a weak player needs is some guidance and some support. Sometimes they need much, much more and will require far too much effort. This is when you have to make a decision. Do you keep them? Or do they get shipped off to find another job? Give them a chance - then move on.
