But it’s very important each and every day that you are working your chops off to show customers and employees alike that you really love that they chose your company over all other choices. So how do you do that when you don’t have a ton of cash to do it? Check out the frugal ideas below.

Out to Dinner

You don’t have to go to Red Lobster or anything, but a nice shared meal at a local Thai restaurant would probably be appreciated by all. Bring your employees (and their significant others and children) and your favorite customers to a special meal where you can talk about how amazing it is that they’ve all chosen to work with you.

Host Educational Events

People love when experts come and talk to them and show them how they can improve their work habits. Choose a day when it’s convenient to let all of your employees and special clients enjoy a few hours listening to someone you’ve brought in that really knows their stuff. For example, if you run a vineyard, bring in a wine expert to teach them how to spot a good wine and have samples to enjoy, too.

Spoil Your Employee of the Month

Going over the top for one employee is almost always cheaper than going over the top for your entire department. Pick someone either randomly (via a drawing) or pick your favorite employee or customer and shower them in gifts. Maybe you can even send them home with a weekend at the spa or a vacation to Hawaii if you’re feeling generous enough.
